Hangin’ for Kalee

The 4th Annual Hangin For Kalee will be held on Saturday, September 14th and Sunday, September 15th in the Butler Saddle Club Arena, located in the Bates County Fairgrounds, beginning at 10am each day.

Co-hosted by the Eastern Kansas Timed Event Circuit, this is a timed event rodeo with Barrels, Poles, Goat Tieing, Breakaway Roping, Calf Roping, and Team Roping. The age groups are 6 & under assisted, 6 & under, 7-9, 10-13, 14-19 and open.

Kalee Chandler was a Bates County resident who lost her life in a horse accident in May of 2016, and her legacy continues on in her gift of life as an organ donor which she passed on to 6 people.
