he City of Harrisonville is planning to hold a brush collection event to collect the limbs that fell from recent stormy.
The drop off will be held at 2400 S. Jefferson Parkway, across from the Harrisonville Community Center at a time to be determined.
The event is limited to Harrisonville residents and businesses and no contractor or developers will be allowed to use the drop off site.
Tree limbs and sticks will be the only items accepted; no paper or plastic bags will be allowed, as well as no plant waste or trash. There will be no limit to the amount of limbs allowed at the sight. No limbs may be dropped off without a City representative present.
The City understands that some people don’t have the resources necessary to bring limbs to the drop off location. With that in mind, there are organizations willing to help. If you need assistance, please contact Deputy City Clerk Daniel Barnett.
