Harrisonville High School has announced the students of the month for November. The Harrisonville High School Students of the Month are selected on the basis of character, citizenship, and academics. Senior Baylie Woolsey and Senior Nicholas Laughlin were selected by the faculty to receive this honor.
Baylie Woolsey is the daughter of Rhonda and Duane Woolsey. Her school activities include Student Council, Freshman Mentoring, Drama, Debate, Audio/Video Team, and Show Choir. Outside of school, she is involved as a student leader for Wyldlife, and she is involved in YoungLife and her church youth group. Woolsey also served in an Apostleship program for Camp Barnabas. After graduation, Woolsey plans to attend Southwest Baptist University to major in intercultural ministries.
Nicholas Laughlin is the son of Tony and Andrea Laughlin. His school activities include football, basketball, golf, Student Council, and National Honor Society. His is the Executive Secretary for Student Council and a football captain. Outside of school, Laughlin is an Eagle Scout. Following graduation, Laughlin plans to attend Truman State University to earn an undergrad in health science and a minor in Spanish.
