Harrisonville High School Students of the Month September

Congratulations to the Harrisonville High School Students of the Month for September – Katie Fitzgerald and Isaiah Bliss.

Katie Fitzgerald is the daughter of Lea and Sean Fitzgerald.

Her school activities include National Honor Society, girls’ soccer, and girls’ wrestling.

Her leadership positions include being a girls’ wrestling captain.

Her honors and awards include varsity letters in both soccer and wrestling, and academic recognition in both sports.

Outside of school she volunteers and referees for the Harrisonville Soccer Club.

Fitzgerald also enjoys reading, spending time with family and friends, playing soccer, and writing.

After high school she plans to attend a college that allows her to look at different majors or career options that interest her.

Isaiah Bliss is the son of Brian and Kari Bliss.

His school activities include DECA, Students Against Destructive Decisions, Music Makers, National Honor Society, National Technical Honor Society, and Student Council.

His leadership positions include being a dance captain in Music Makers, and student body president.

His honors and awards include first place in DECA districts during his junior year.

Outside of school Bliss interns at the Chamber of Commerce, works at The Ville Nutrition, and participates in First Act Theatre.

Bliss also enjoys dancing, TikTok, cooking, coffee, watching The Bachelor and Ariana Grande.

After high school, Bliss plans to attend an undecided college to major in marketing and advertising communications.
