On Thursday, August 25th, around 8:55 p.m., the Missouri State Highway Patrol in Cass County along with Cass County Sheriff’s Deputies, Belton Police Department and Raymore Police Department responded to a one vehicle rollover accident in the northbound lanes of I-49 at Missouri 58 Highway in Belton.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol says the accident occurred when the northbound 1997 Chevrolet S-10 driven by 66 year old Linda S. Christiansen of Harrisonville, Missouri ran off the roadway, struck a roadway sign before overturning and ejecting the driver.
Linda S. Christiansen was pronounced deceased at the scene of this accident and was released to Frontier Forensics.
