| This Saturday, Santa Claus himself will be at The Rusty Bucket general store located at Autumn Acres family farm on South Main in Butler. Kids can visit with Santa from Noon-3 and again from 5-7, this is a free event. Refreshments will be available and it will be a great holiday shopping and photo opportunity, so parents bring your cameras. The Rusty Bucket is located at 1300 South Main in Butler at Autumn Acres family farm. Santa Claus is coming to town, this Saturday, November 21st. |

Bates County Broadcasting opened as a single day-time station on May 11th 1962. Broadcasting from sunrise to sunset 7-days each week. This was the first radio station to broadcast in the Bates County Area. Owned and Operated by Bill Thornton and his brother Jerry Thornton.
In 1975 the FM Frequency was added and the stations simulcast. The FM has a 24 hours license but just broadcast from 6 am until 10 pm.
