Location: Amoret, MO (also known as Mulberry Creek Farms)
Breeding Technician – Swine
Full Time, permanent, salary position with benefits (including health insurance, paid time off, 401k, 401k matching) at a family farm that strives to be at the top of the pork industry. Monday-Friday 6-3 with a weekend rotation (work one weekend, have the next two off). Bi-weekly pay periods.
Duties Include:
– conduct artificial breeding
– health checks and care of pigs
– feeding
– watering
– record keeping
– Following other job-related instructions and performing other job-related duties as requested
Abilities:
– Self-motivated team player with a positive attitude
– Strong written and verbal communication skills
– Dependable and able to work with minimal supervision
– Ability to lift up to 50lbs
– Ability to stand, walk and be on feet for 8 hrs/day
– Ability to frequently bend, reach, squat and kneel
Requirements:
– Must have a valid Driver’s License
– Drug testing required
– High School education or equivalent
– Must have reliable transportation
– Desire to learn and self-develop
