Jaxon Hiser, a 2022 graduate of Butler High School, has been selected to receive the Kalee Chandler Scholarship, administered by the Community Foundation of the Ozarks. The scholarship provides $875 to further Hiser’s education.
Hiser, the son of Jason and Ashlee Hiser, will attend Central Methodist University this fall, where he will pursue studies in biology and pre-med.
“This scholarship will take some of the financial burden off and allow me to focus more on my academics,” Hiser says. “Thank you for supporting me and investing in my future.”
Wade and Kacey Chandler established the Kalee Chandler Scholarship Fund in 2016 in memory of their daughter, Kalee. It awards to a Butler High School graduate.
