Along with the wonder and excitement of the holidays comes a predator trying to take advantage of your desire to give to those less fortunate.
The latest predatory scam going around starts with a phone call. The caller asks for your personal financial information in order for you to donate money to their organization. The big red flag here is that they won’t tell you the name of the organization or where the money will go, but they use high pressure tactics to get at your personal information. Do not EVER give out your personal information to anyone that you did not contact to initiate a donation.
