Hometown Hero Customer Recognition for Zink Motors of Appleton City.

A Hometown Shout Out is made public by a Rich Hill citizen. A Hometown Hero mention is made public as FM-92.1 takes the time to recognize a local business in our community for going above and beyond for their customers.

Doug McCrorey of the Rich Hill Boys Youth Development center was in the hospital when the family vehicle became disabled and his spouse was without transportation.

McCrorey made several phone calls from his hospital bed to area dealerships searching for a vehicle. Calls were made and no luck until his phone call to Zink Motors of Appleton City.

A shout out goes to the salesman, Bill Myers and Rob Callahan of Zink Motors. McCrorey stated that this was a crazy way of doing business, but Bill took the bull by the horns and started searching for a car in McCrorey’s price range and the style of vehicle he needed. The dealer sent pictures by text of various cars available. Dealing with the payment range and style of vehicle McCrorey needed. Zink Motors of Appleton City took the time to find just what McCrorey wanted, Zink Motors prepared the paperwork in advance by phone. When McCrorey was released from the hospital he made the trip to Zink Motors and drove away with the vehicle.

McCrorey stated, “this dealership went above and beyond for his business and deserved a Hometown Hero Shout Out”. So, Zink Motors we salute you for your dedication and service with your Hometown attitude for sales and service our community.

Zink Motors may be found in Appleton City or see them on Facebook. Thank you from Doug McCrorey of Rich Hill.
