On Saturday morning, August 8th, the Clinton Fire Department responded to 1600 North Water Street, Lot #66 at 12:33 am on the report of a structure fire.
Fire crews arrived on the scene to find the residence full of smoke and were informed the occupant may still be in the home.
A sole resident of the home was located inside and was rescued from the home by fire crews.
The victim was transported by Golden Valley Memorial Hospital Ambulance crews to a Kansas City Regional hospital in critical condition.
