The community of Hume wishes to extend their sympathy to Jamie Harris and family on the loss of Jamei’s grandmother Dorothy. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends. We send lots of hugs, faith, and prayers to Jamei and the family.
The Hume School Carnival was held on Friday, October 7. 1stand 2nd grade class Camden Brown and Myla Dirks won Prince and Princess. 8th grade class Baileigh Rogers and Levi Scott won Queen and King. Congratulations to the royalty. Everyone had a great time.
There is a Revival going on in Hume! Enjoy each night at the Hume city park from October 9 through October 14 starting at 5:30 p.m. with hot dogs, chips ,and drinks along with enjoying music. At 6:00 p.m. there will be inspirational speakers nightly.
October 9 we heard a great message from Bobby Bud Pastor from El Dorado Springs and Doug Fisher of the Hume/Walnut Community. Those scheduled for October 10 will be Bart McClaughry, Hume and Woody Wilson, Director of Missions, Butler. Tuesday, Oct 11 will be Clayson Lyons, Pastor Rich Hill and Adam Reynolds, Pastor Hume. Wednesday, Oct 12 will be Doug Miessner, Webb City and Mike Wriston, Pastor Hume. Thursday, Oct 13 will be David Brooks Hume and Mike Wriston Pastor Hume. Friday October 14 will be Eric England Pastor Moundville and Don Rice Pastor Hume. The list of speakers is subject to change without notice. Please be in prayer for us during this revival.
