Important update from Nevada Schools

The Nevada School current school calendar has been amended to designate November 23, and November 24, 2020 as Distance Learning days for all students, grades K-12. This means your child will not attend in-person school on those days but will attend school from home.

Each building will send out information regarding your student’s expectations for those days along with login information for any platforms being utilized.

Classes will resume in-person on November 30, 2020 at the Nevada Schools. Lunches will be provided curbside on these days.

Due to the increase of Covid-19 cases within Vernon County and the increase in cases within the school district, all students in grades 6-12 will be required to wear a mask beginning Monday, November 16, 2020.

The mask requirement will stay in place until further notice. Nevada School Students will be required to wear masks when in hallways, common areas, during arrival and dismissal, and if riding a bus.

Students will also be required to wear masks when in the classroom. If your student does not have a mask, one will be provided for them.

Please continue to screen your child at home before sending them to school. Thank you for your cooperation in this matter as we strive to address situations that will allow for the district to continue in-person learning.
