Are you ready for some District Football Championships?!?! In district football action tonight, the Butler Bears will take on the Warsaw Wildcats, kickoff is at 7 pm at the Butler Sports Complex. FM 92.1 will be broadcasting this game live so if you can’t make it to the game, tune-in to 92.1 or click Listen Live on the www.921news.com website. The Adrian Blackhawks will be playing for their district championship tonight against the Sweet Springs Greyhounds. Kickoff is at 7 pm in Adrian. In another district championship game just to the West, the Archie Whirlwinds will be playing the Drexel Bobcats in Drexel with kickoff also at 7 pm. Good Luck to all of the teams!

Bates County Broadcasting opened as a single day-time station on May 11th 1962. Broadcasting from sunrise to sunset 7-days each week. This was the first radio station to broadcast in the Bates County Area. Owned and Operated by Bill Thornton and his brother Jerry Thornton.
In 1975 the FM Frequency was added and the stations simulcast. The FM has a 24 hours license but just broadcast from 6 am until 10 pm.
