Lucas Oil Speedway General Manager Danny Lorton reminds area residents that the speedway’s annual Job Fair, offering employment opportunities in multiple areas in 2021, is set for this Saturday March 6th.
The Job Fair will be held from 9 a.m.-4 p.m. at the speedway’s main office just outside the pit entrance.
Lorton asks that potential applicants who have COVID-19 or show any signs of symptoms refrain from attending. Masks are not required, but those attending are welcome to wear a face covering. Applicants should bring two forms of identification to the Job Fair and at least one must be a photo ID, such as a driver’s license.
All jobs will be seasonal positions, including weekends and some weekday events. The Lucas Oil Speedway season is set to begin with an Open Test and Tune on March 27 prior to the Big Adventure RV Weekly Racing Series opener on April 3.
Job positions available include maintenance crew worker, concessions, cooks (must be 18 or older), cashiers, bartenders (21 and over with experience), bar back (21 and over with experience), security crew workers, environmental service workers, Jr. Fan Club worker, go-kart workers and safety crew (experience in firefighting and EMT required).
Those who cannot attend the Job Fair on Saturday can stop by the Lucas Oil Speedway office, any weekday from 9 a.m.-5 p.m., and pick up an employee application.
