On May 5th the Harrisonville Police Department congratulated K9 Uxo on his retirement. After 5 1/2 years of dedicated service to the citizens of Harrisonville. Uxo will be retired to live an easier, safer life. As a single-purpose canine, K9 Uxo has given countless demonstrations and has been very successful in sniffing out illegal drugs.
Since being sworn in as a Harrisonville Police K9 on September 5th, 2017, Uxo has been involved in 190 deployments resulting in over $104,000 worth of illegal drugs, $51,051 of drug-related currency and 12 guns being taken off the street.
His forever home will be with his partner Officer Matt McCulloch. We Thank You both for your service to our community as a K-9 team, may you have a long and healthy retirement K-9 Uxo.
