Kansas City Renaissance Festival Celebrates 45 Years

Since 1977, the Kansas City Renaissance Festival has entertained visitors of all ages! Our 45^th season begins on September 3^rd, 2022, with the high seas fun of Swashbucklers and Sirens! On our second weekend, it’s time to get Scottish with the Highland Fling, then enjoy some Wine, Chocolate & Romance, be Irish for a weekend at Shamrocks and Shenanigans, celebrate the fantasy of every realm at Heroes and Villains, bring your canine friends to Barkbarian Brew Fest, and have an early Halloween on our final weekend, Haunted Huzzah!

This year’s Theme Weekend Schedule:

Sept. 3^rd, 4^th & 5^th – Swashbucklers & Sirens
Sept. 10^th & 11^th – Highland Fling

Sept. 17^th & 18^th – Wine, Chocolate & Romance
Sept. 24^th & 25^th – Shamrocks and Shenanigans
Oct. 1^st & 2^nd – Heroes and Villains
Oct. 8^th, 9^th & 10^th – Barkbarian Brew Fest
Oct. 15^th & 16^th – Haunted Huzzah!

Festival hours are 10am-7pm Saturdays and Sundays, and 10am-5pm on September 5^th and October 10^th. In addition to our classic activities, we have exciting new additions. The Captain’s Rum Raid will give guests a chance to sample some fine new spirits, and Henry’s Happy Hour will close out the day with craft beer and cigars in our new and improved White Stag Inn.
