Today we will feature the Kansas City Zoo. The zoo is open year- round from 8 am to 4 pm on weekdays and 8 am to 5 pm weekends. These summer hours are in effect Memorial Weekend to Labor Day weekends.
The Kansas City Zoo is closed only on Thanksgiving, Christmas day and New Year’s Eve.
The prices FOR 2019 are $16.00 for Adults ages 12 and above, Senior Citizens $15.00. Children under the age of two are admitted free and children 3-1 are charged $13.00 per child.
Group rates are available for parties of 20 plus. Rides and transportation are available with handicapped access.
The train is $3.00 and the tram is $2.00 and the African Sky Safari and Carousel operate daily weather permitting, the cost for this service is $5.00 round-trip. Strollers, Wagons, Wheelchairs and Electric Convenience Vehicles are for rent on a first come first serve basis.
