The Annual Ladies Night Out is set for Monday evening November 23rd. Local Businesses will kick off the holiday season with in-store specials for holiday shopping. A variety of businesses will be open until approximately 8:00 pm. The Christmas lights will be turned on around the Butler Square and FM 92.1 will kick the holiday season off with Christmas Music filling the air from 5 until 8 pm. Grab and friend and kick off the holiday shopping season during Ladies Night Out on November 23rd. Stores in Butler will be open until 8:00 pm.

Bates County Broadcasting opened as a single day-time station on May 11th 1962. Broadcasting from sunrise to sunset 7-days each week. This was the first radio station to broadcast in the Bates County Area. Owned and Operated by Bill Thornton and his brother Jerry Thornton.
In 1975 the FM Frequency was added and the stations simulcast. The FM has a 24 hours license but just broadcast from 6 am until 10 pm.
