Local Author Diana Taylor of Butler has the Opportunity to Make Her Life Story a Movie

Local Author, Diana Taylor of Butler is raising funds for a screenplay fee. A company is interested in bringing her life story to the big screen. When the movie becomes public, there will be a message for adults and children on the challenges faced by persons with a disability.

Diana was electrocuted at the age of 4 and lost both an arm and a leg. Her goal is to use her struggles to encourage others and bring awareness that life can go on. Author, Diana Taylor of Butler hopes to make guest appearances to schools and organizations to increase awareness of being different and how to deal with stares, silent glances, being made fun of by others and the hurt that goes with being different.

Her hope is that the community will band together to help her raise the final $2450.00 dollars needed to present this to the writers with the opportunity to turn her life story into a movie. If you feel lead to donate to this worthy cause, donations in any amount will help her reach her goal of funds needed by the August 1st Deadline.

Thanks to those that have donated. Any proceeds over the screenplay fee will be donated to The Carpenter’s Cup, Gift and Book Store in Butler. Donations may be left at Community First Bank of Butler. Thank you in advance.
