The Louisburg American Legion has notified the City of Louisburg that they will not be conducting the annual services at the Louisburg cemetery or other area cemeteries this year due to the difficulty to maintain social distancing. Legion members will still put out the small flags at veterans’ graves. Local VFW members will also put out the avenue of flags that lines the Louisburg cemetery. They would like to offer a special thanks to current military personnel and to those local veterans and volunteers that assist with the flags.
