On Wednesday, April 27th Louisburg Police took a report for a stolen auto, where a homeowners white Chevy Trailblazer was stolen from their driveway in the 1200 block of Starbrooke Drive.
The vehicle was taken around 6:30 AM this morning, which was verified by the use of a GPS device that was in the vehicle at the time of the theft. The car was later recovered in Grandview Missouri.
The Louisburg Police are asking for the public’s assistance in this investigation to work on identifying the person(s) who might have been responsible for this act. If anyone from the Starbrooke subdivision can recall any suspicious subjects or vehicles in the neighborhood, especially in the vicinity of S. 6th Street East and Starbrooke around 5:30 – 6:30 AM, it would be helpful if you could reach out to the Louisburg Police agency. If you happen to have any security video or doorbell camera recordings of the perpetrator, please get a copy of the images to us as well.
Please remember to park your vehicles in well-lit areas, remove any valuables and remember to roll up your windows and lock the vehicle doors before turning in for the day.
