Mask Mandate Extended in Springfield, MO.

The City of Springfield Missouri has been in a mask mandate since July 16, 2020, this mandate requires face coverings in areas open to public and in most place of public accommodations in Springfield, with limited exceptions. 

Public accommodation means a business or other facility, both public and private, both indoor and outdoors, open to the use by the public.

The mask mandate was set to expirer but has been extended until Jan 9, 2020. City of Springfield has raised the special event on public property capacity from 25% to 50%.  For more information please visit www.springfieldmo.gov.

The city of Springfield is asking all complaints about violators go to 911. Springfield P.D. prefers to receive the calls in a timely manner.
