Medicalodges of Butler know many of you are concerned about the spread of the coronavirus and how it may impact the residents and staff at Medicalodges. At this time there are NO cases of the virus at Medicalodges Butler. The Center has placed a variety of steps that they are implementing to help reduce the potential for the virus to enter the building. At this time, Medicalodges of Butler request that family and friends DO NOT visit the center out of an abundance of caution, Medicalodges are limiting all visitors to their facility unless absolutely necessary. They are posting signs on their entryway doors to notify visitors of this policy and actively screening individuals, including staff, who need to come into the building. Medicalodges Butler is strongly encouraging the community to wash their hands, use hand sanitizer, and staying home when feeling symptomatic . They understand that connecting with your loved one is important, and there are a variety of other ways you might consider communication with the residents… phone calls, email. Text, video chat or social media. Medicalodges will assist with “ face time” If you believe a visit to the center is necessary, contact Misty Brooks, Administrator 660-679-3179. Bates County Broadcasting opened as a single day-time station on May 11th 1962. Broadcasting from sunrise to sunset 7-days each week. This was the first radio station to broadcast in the Bates County Area. Owned and Operated by Bill Thornton and his brother Jerry Thornton.
In 1975 the FM Frequency was added and the stations simulcast. The FM has a 24 hours license but just broadcast from 6 am until 10 pm.
