Meeting on the Impact of Tiling Will Be Held at Deerfield Farm and Fairgrounds in Nevada/July 24

A meeting on The Impact of Tiling will be held Sunday, July 24. The meeting will start at the Russell Johnson Farm (located at 6261 East Osage Nation in Deerfield) and will then move inside the Fairgrounds (located at 1488 East Ashland in Nevada).

The field tour will start at 8am at the Russell Johnson Farm (watch for signs).  The indoor presentation will be from 10am to 11:30am at Fairgrounds in Nevada.

Speakers for the meeting are MU Associate Professor of Research at the Novelty Research Station Kelly Nelson and NRCS District Conservationist Alan Hayes. Kelly Nelson will speak on Crop Response to Subsurface Drainage and Irrigation Systems, and Alan Hayes will speak on Cost-Share Opportunity on Installation of Drainage Sub-irrigation Systems.
