Miami County Sheriff’s Office Giving Back to Their Community

Each year throughout the year the Miami County Sheriff’s Office like to participate in ways to benefit their community. One of those ways is to participate in cancer awareness benefits.

In order to participate members of the Miami County Sheriff’s Office have to “pay to play”. Members are allowed to wear cancer awareness specific clothing, color their hair, nails and grow beards if they donate.

This year Miami County Sheriff’s office is happy to provide the Miami County Cancer Foundation, Inc over $2500 from members of their staff.

Miami County Cancer Foundation is a local non-profit group of community volunteers-your family, your friends and your neighbors-dedicated to helping Miami County cancer patients and their families in their battle with cancer by offering services that can help reduce some of the burden.

You can find more information about their foundation at miamicountycancerfoundation.org. You can find them on Venmo at @MCCFKS.
