Missouri State Treasurer Eric Schmitt will make a visit to Bates County on Wednesday to promote saving for education through Missouri’s MOST 529 Savings Plan. The MOST 529 Plan is the best way to save for higher education expenses and K-12 tuition while also saving on your taxes. Bates County currently has a MOST participation rate of 2.25%.
Missouri State Treasurer Eric Schmitt will be the featured speaker at the Butler Rotary Club on Wednesday, February 21st. The Rotary Club will meet at the Flaming Lantern Restaurant at 11:45. Mr. Schmitt will speak to the group following lunch. Mr. Schmitt will then speak at the Butler Elementary School at 1:30.
