Saturday’s weather did not put a damper on a visit that Missouri Governor Parsons and the First Lady made to Bates County. He stopped at Briarwood Farms outside of Butler where he briefly spoke to approximately 100 different community members, county officials, clubs, and business owners. Those in attendance were served a great lunch prepared by the Bates County Cattlemen and Cattlewomen. Despite the wind and the rain, the community is honored that Missouri Governor Parsons was able to visit Bates County.
