On 4/21/20 around 11:50pm the Missouri State Highway Patrol in Vernon County along with Vernon County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to a one vehicle accident on CR 2700 around 2 miles southeast of Harwood in rural Vernon County.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol says the accident occurred when the 2016 Ford Explorer driven by 39 year old Eric W. Travis of Nevada, Missouri failed to negotiate a curve and traveled off the roadway, striking an embankment.
Travis sustained minor injuries in this accident and was transported by a Vernon County Sheriff’s Deputy to Nevada Regional Medical Center for treatment.
