Nevada Police Investigate Stabbing

On Tuesday September 21st, at approximately 2:58 p.m., officers from the Nevada Police Department responded to Woods Supermarket in the 1400 block of W. Austin Boulevard for a report of an assault in progress. Responding emergency personnel located one male subject that had sustained a stab wound. 

One male suspect was taken into police custody near the scene and has been identified as Robert Reynolds, age 52 of Nevada. On September 22, 2021, the following charges were filed against Robert Reynolds through the Vernon County Associate Court: Assault 2nd Degree – Class D Felony Armed Criminal Action – Unclassified Felony Endangering the Welfare of a Child 2nd Degree – Class A Misdemeanor Reynolds is currently being held in the Vernon County Jail in lieu of a $100,000 cash only bond.
