Nevada Police Make Arrest

NEVADA POLICE MAKE ARREST IN DRUG INVESTIGATION

On Wednesday, September 4, 2019 Nevada Police executed a search warrant in the 900 block of N. Main Street in response to reports of illegal drug activity at that location.

Officers had developed information regarding a known male subject at that location that had reportedly been involved in illegal drug activity. Nevada Police had been receiving multiple complaints in regards to the subject in question.  

Upon arrival, officers made contact with the resident of the home. During the search officers located and seized suspected methamphetamine, and suspected drug paraphernalia. The evidence seized will be sent to the Missouri State Highway Patrol Crime Lab for further analysis.

One subject was taken into custody and transported to the Vernon County Jail for holding. The subject has been identified as follows;

David E Perkey, age 62 of Nevada

On September 4, 2019, the following charges were filed against David Perkey through the Vernon County Associate Court:

Delivery of a Controlled Substance – Class C Felony


Perkey is being held in the Vernon County Jail in lieu of a $50,000 cash only bond.
