The Missouri Highway Patrol responded to a crash at Indian Line Road, 8 miles Northwest on Nevada on Wednesday, September 8th at approximately 9:45am.
The crash occurred when a 2020 Chevrolet box truck driven by John Mastin, 40 of Independence, was headed Northbound and struck a 2001 Buick Century driven by Rhonda Johnson, 34 on Nevada, that was headed eastbound at an uncontrolled intersection.
Rhonda Johnson sustained serious injuries and was transported by Med flight to Freeman Hospital in Joplin Missouri.
The Box truck was towed from the scene by Garwood Towing and the Century was towed from the scene by TCB Towing
