The City of Adrian hires a new City Administrator. Ryan Wescoat was selected from several candidates and starts tomorrow.
Ryan Wescoat has lived in Missouri his entire life. He grew up in the Belton and Raymore communities and graduated from Raymore-Peculiar High School in 1991. He went on to earn a Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, an MBA, and a Graduate Certificate. Ryan has been married to Adreanna for 29 years and has three grown children: Emily, Sarah, and Alex.
Ryan brings with him a diverse work background that includes working as a local government software specialist, an adjunct business instructor for Ottawa University and faculty for the University of Missouri Extension. He has served in local government through two terms as a Raymore-Peculiar school board member, two terms as a City Councilman for Raymore, and four years as the Cass County Auditor. During his time as the Auditor, Ryan rooted out fraud, found ways to reduce expenses, brought the grant programs back into compliance, and found new sources of revenue for the county. Ryan is looking forward to using his knowledge and experience to serve the community and citizens of Adrian.
