New Principal at the Harrisonville High School

Harrisonville High School welcomes new High School Principal Mr. Mark Rorvig.

Mr. Rorvig has served as the assistant principal for seven years and taught Personal Finance at Harrisonville High School for eight years prior to that. Mr. Rorvig will take over as principal immediately.

Mr. Rorvig earned his bachelor’s degree in Business Management and Administration from William Jewell College and his teacher certification from the University of Central Missouri. He has a master’s degree in Secondary Administration from the University of Central Missouri and is currently pursuing his Doctoral degree in School Administration from UMKC.

Mr. Rorvig is married to Meggan, a Harrisonville High School alumnus, and they have two children, Emma, and Grady.

Mr. Rorvig replaces Mr. Mark Wiegers who left the district to serve as principal at Center High School.
