Gwendolyn Sue Tarvin, age 66 of Butler, Missouri died Thursday, July 30, 2020 at her home in rural Butler.  She was born September 20, 1953 to Norris Dean and Anna Irene Blizzard Garnett in Butler.

Gwendolyn is survived by two sons, Roy Dean Tarvin and wife Jamie of Butler, Missouri and Lynn David Tarvin and wife Angela of Independence, Missouri; three brothers, Don Garnett and wife Janet of Amsterdam, Missouri, David Garnett and wife Rita of Stella, Missouri and Alan Garnett and wife Summer of Richmond, Virginia; five grandsons, Mike Tarvin, John Tarvin, Kole Tarvin, Luke Tarvin and Alexander Tarvin; sisters-in-law, Edwina Brennon of Erie, Kansas, Jackie Cross and husband George of Parsons, Kansas and Marilyn Barker and husband Melvin of Ft. Scott, Kansas; and numerous nephews, nieces and cousins.  She was preceded in death by her parents, Norris and Irene; husband, David Tarvin; one brother, Jim Garnett; brothers-in-law, Dale Evel, Jim Sexton, Al Brennon; sisters-in-law, Kathy Garnett, Betty Jo Collins and Carolyn Evel.

Norma Lee Fritts, age 86 of Butler, Missouri died Wednesday, July 29, 2020 at Bates County Memorial Hospital in Butler.  She was born January 9, 1934 to Robert Lee and Ortha Charlotte Brooks Lacy in Merwin, Missouri.

Norma is survived by five sons, Robert Perrymann and wife Gail of Urich, Missouri, Trent Fritts of Kansas City, Missouri, Terry Perryman and wife Dee of Adrian, Missouri, Garry Perrymann of Drexel, Missouri and Robert Fritts and wife Laura of Fair Grove, Missouri; a daughter, Stacey Kimberling and husband Paul of West Plains, Missouri; 15 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by her parents; husband Leroy “Herb” Fritts; one son, Vincent Lee Risner; and a daughter, Linda.

Robert (Danny) McClellan, age 60 of Rich Hill, MO passed away Tuesday, July 28, 2020 at his home in Rich Hill, MO. Danny’s wishes were to be cremated with no services.

He is survived by his wife, Sheila McClellan of Rich Hill, MO; a son, Brian McClellan of Huntington, West Virginia; step daughters, Lacy Sims and Kera Miller; and granddaughters Emilie McClellan, Maritza Darr, and Emma Miller. Arrangements by the Heuser Funeral Home (417-395-2213), Rich Hill, MO.

Austin Lancaster, 29 of Peculiar, Missouri passed away July 28, 2020. Funeral services will be held 2:00 pm Saturday, August 1, 2020 at Mullinax Funeral Home, Butler (660-679-0009). A visitation will be held just prior to services Saturday from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm, also at the funeral home. Burial will be in Sharon Cemetery, Drexel, Missouri. Gary Dean Clearwater, 68 of La Cygne, Kansas

Gary Dean Clearwater, age 68, La Cygne, Kansas passed away on Sunday, July 26, 2020.  He was born on March 7, 1952 in Kansas City, Kansas the son of Fred and Dorothy Johnston Clearwater.  He graduated from La Cygne High School in the Class of 1970.  He married Susie James on February 8, 1975.  He worked as an equipment operator and was currently employed with Hamm Construction.  Gary’s number one priority was his family.  He enjoyed spending time in the roping pen, taking care of his cows and upland bird hunting.  He could always be counted on to lend a helping hand to anyone who needed it.  He was preceded in death by his parents.  Gary is survived by his wife of forty-five plus years, Susie, son, Ty Clearwater, daughters, Kristie Jo Clearwater(John) and Tatum Schull(Tom), a brother, Larry Clearwater(Dalena), a sister, Kathy White(Donnie), and four grandchildren, Austin, Kelpis, Cole, Bryson and Heath.

Graveside service will be 11 am Thursday, July 30, 2020 at the East Mt. Zion Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 4 to 7 pm Wednesday at the Schneider Funeral Home and Crematory, La Cygne Chapel.  Contributions are suggested to the Linn County 4-H Council, c/o Schneider Funeral Home, P.O.
