On 6/7/2020 at approximately 2130 hrs, the Bates County Sheriff’s Office received a call in reference to a kidnapping that had just occurred in Butler. The female was forced into her car at gunpoint from her place of employment. Information received indicated that the vehicle would have possibly been returning to the Kansas City area.
