Osage Valley Electric Coop and Conexon bring Fiber to the Home in Rural areas

Osage Valley Electric Cooperative in partnership with Conexon Connect is bring fiber to the home network and access to Gigabit-speed broadband internet to Osage Valley Electric customers.

Osage Valley Electric Coop and Conexon Internet service provider are embarking on 5-year $75 million dollar project to provider fiber internet to 16300 homes and businesses in Cass, Bates, Henry, St. Clair, Johnson, Benton, and Vernon Counties. Osage Valley expects the first customers to have fiber to the home by the end of 2021.

This world-class 3500-mile fiber to the home network will open new opportunities to the daily life for Osage Valley Coop many rural customers.

Osage Valley Coop is investing in this project to give their customer effective remote learning, convenient telemedicine, work from home interoffice connectivity, economic development and growth, and improved real estate markets and home prices in our area.

Osage Valley Coop will have internet package available starting at 49.95 up to 79.95 as they are working hard to make this fiber to the home affordable for every household.
