Papinville Picnic Information

The annual Papinville Picnic Activities begin Saturday, September 24th at 1:00 pm with the Historic Wagon Rides at 1:00 and again at 2:30.  Arrive 30 minutes before departure time. You will learn of the Papinville bridge, the town and its businesses and people. 

Activities to enjoy throughout the day will be: live music by Heartfelt Band and Singers, you will meet Asenath Barrows, a 50-50 drawing, there will be displays by the  Conservation Department, Jack York, and Diana Rodgers, chalk drawing for the kids, Cakewalk, and other games for both children and Adults.

Auction of pies will begin at 4:00 with the Historic Quilt and other items auctioned at 4:30.  Pies must be registered by 2:30 on the 24th.

There will be a 50-50 drawing held just prior to the meal. 

The Meal of fish and/or pork with all the trimmings will be served at 5:30 for a freewill offering.

All who would like, may bring a dessert in a disposable pan or container and let the workers know if you want it on the dessert table or in the cake walk or auction. 

  • Papinville is happy to announce you will be able to use “B” Highway from Rich Hill to Papinville on September 24, the day of the picnic.
