FM 92.1 News spoke with the Cass County Clerk office on Tuesday, August 16th concerning the recount for the August Primary election.
The recount began on August 16th for the Associate Circuit Judge Division 4 in which James G Eftink ran against Mike Rumley. The original results were very close with Eftink having 7133 votes and Rumley having 7193 votes.
James Eftink did get a court order requiring a recount on these results.
FM 92.1 News will get you an update as soon as the recount is completed. At this time the Cass County Clerk does not have a date of when this recount will be completed.
