During the last few weeks, the Butler Police Department has seen a rise in theft from vehicles.
The Butler Police Department wants to remind you to remember to keep your vehicles always locked. Do not leave your valuables such as wallets, purses, or cell phone in your car, even if the vehicle is locked. If someone see items of value in your vehicle, they may try to gain entry, even with a locked vehicle. Placing items of value in a safe secure place inside your homes may detour your vehicle from being burglarizing. Never leave your vehicles unattended or with keys in the vehicle.
