An upcoming regional hay school will be held at the Vernon County Fairgrounds Centennial Building in Nevada Mo. on the evenings of March 17th, 22nd and 23rd. The school will begin at 6 p. m. each evening and a meal will be served due to the cooperating businesses. MU Extension Ag Specialist will be providing the education for the school and topics discussed include:
· How and when to produce quality hay
· The economics of hay production
· The agronomic impact on the soil
· Cattle nutrition and hay feeding
Fee for the 3-night school is $35 per person and to attend registration along with payment needs to be done to Vernon County MU Extension Center at 100 W.
