Regional Hay School in Nevada

An upcoming regional hay school will be held at the Vernon County Fairgrounds Centennial Building in Nevada Mo. on the evenings of March 17^th, 22^nd and 23^rd.  The school will begin at 6 p. m. each evening and a meal will be served due to the cooperating businesses.  MU Extension Ag Specialist will be providing the education for the school and topics discussed include:  

·        How and when to produce quality hay

·        The economics of hay production

·        The agronomic impact on the soil

·        Cattle nutrition and hay feeding   

Fee for the 3-night school is $35 per person and to attend registration along with payment needs to be done to Vernon County MU Extension Center at 100 W.
