On Friday, October 29th at approximately 7:54am the Bates County Coroner was called to a residence in the 500 block of N. Clark St. in Adrian following a fire involving the residence.
A deceased male was located inside the structure and appears to have been the only occupant of the home. Initial investigation reveals no sign of foul play.
The Missouri State Fire Marshal’s Office remains on-scene investigating the cause of the fire. The deceased male was transported to the Bates County Coroner’s Office.
At this time Coroner Mullinax will withhold identifying information pending contact with family. Coroner Mullinax will provide more information as he able.
