The Hand Up Shoe and Sock Drive for registered children in the Bates County continues until August 10th. The project still needs the help of the community through donations. This fundraising drive needs cash donations to purchase shoes and socks for back to school kids in our area. If you would like to donate to “ Project Hand Up” make your donations payable to The Carpenter Cup 102 South Bishop Street in Butler. All proceeds will be used to purchase new shoes and a package of socks for registered children on the wishlist. Thank you from the children of Bates County. To date, approximately 89 children are registered.
