On Tuesday morning, September 27th at approximately 10:43am, the Missouri State Highway Patrol responded to a one vehicle accident on southbound Business Loop I-49 in Butler.
The Missouri Highway Patrol reports that the 2014 Dodge Avenger, driven by Cierra L. Barton of Rich Hill MO, traveled off the right side of the roadway, striking a fence and a tree. Barton sustained serious injuries and was transported to Bates County Memorial Hospital and was then Life Flighted to Research Medical Center in Kansas City for treatment.
Bates County Sheriff’s Deputies along with Bates County EMS and Butler Fire Departments also responded to this accident.
