The Vernon County Sheriff’s Department has received multiple reports from citizens stating they have received text messages stating they have won a prize and will receive $1,000 from Walmart to their cell phone.
This is a scam, please do not follow the instructions. If you have questions about a company or organization, please call that company directly and not through the email or text that it was received on.
