Second Mailing of Bates County Personal Property Assessment List

The Bates County Assessor’s Office will send out the second mailing for the 2021 Personal Property Assessment List.

This is your second opportunity to return the personal property sheet before fines are implemented.

The second mailing form will go out on March 15^th and must be returned by the May 1^st deadline. Forms may be filled out at the Bates County Assessor’s office or by mail. Forms may not be filled out over the phone.

Fines for failure to return the Bates County Assessment form may range from 15 dollars to $105.00 depending on the evaluation of your report.

A friendly reminder, the final deadline for returning the Bates County Personal Property Assessment form in May 1^st, 2021.

For your convenience there is a drop box located at the Bates County Administration building labeled ” Collector’s Box”.
