Join the Appleton City and Rockville United Methodist Churches on Sunday, September 24th in serving the Appleton City and Rockville communities for SERVE MO 2017. The day all starts at 7:30am with a 5K Run/Walk.
You can register for the 5K Walk/Run on September 24th beginning at 6:30am. The fee to register the day of will be $25, and shirts can be bought separately for $15. All proceeds from the 5K Run/Walk goes to benefit Peter Creasy, a brain cancer victim.
At 8:30am, there will be a Worship Service in the Appleton City Park. Come out, bring your lawn chairs or blanket, and listen to a Sunday Worship Service.
Following the Worship Service at 9:30am, Work Teams will make casseroles and cookies for the homebound, put together United Methodist Committee on Relief Festival of Sharing Kits, fill weekend backpacks for school kids, and clean-up trash. Work Teams will also do basic minor repairs and yard work for disabled, elderly, or low income families.
They day will wrap up with a lunch at Trinity United Methodist Church beginning at noon.
