The Shelter Insurance Foundation will award a $2000 scholarship to a Harrisonville High School Graduate. Shelter Agent sponsors and partially funds this scholarship.
A committee of local high school officials and community leaders will select the local recipient. The committee will consider each applicant’s scholastic achievements, educational goals, citizenship, moral character, and participation and leadership in school and community activities. The scholarship is given without regard to race, disability, religion, national origin, or gender of applicants.
The scholarship recipient may apply the scholarship funds toward tuition, fees, or campus housing for any course of study beginning in the Fall of 2018 and leading to an academic degree at an accredited college or university. The Shelter Insurance Foundation makes the payment direction to the school that the scholarship recipient chooses.
Current Harrisonville High School Seniors who meet any necessary qualifications may apply for The Shelter Insurance Foundation’s $2000 scholarship now, and applications must be turned in by March 31.
For more information about the scholarship and how to apply, interested Harrisonville High School seniors should contact the Harrisonville High School Counselor, Harrisonville High School Principal, or Shelter Insurance Agent Lacey Domnick.
