The Adrian Lions Club is hosting Sight and Safety, 5-7 pm, Thursday, October 31st on Main Street in Adrian. Receive lots of sweets and treats from chamber members, businesses and various other Adrian clubs. The Adrian Lions Club will be accepting donations of old eye glasses as well as chargeable cell phones with chargers. There is also a pumpkin carving/drawing contest and 1st thru 3rd place will be given in both categories, ages 12 and under and ages 13 and up. Draw or carve your favorite design on a pumpkin and bring to the Lions Club booth by 6 pm. Sight and Safety, October 31st on Main Street in Adrian, 5 -7 pm. |

Bates County Broadcasting opened as a single day-time station on May 11th 1962. Broadcasting from sunrise to sunset 7-days each week. This was the first radio station to broadcast in the Bates County Area. Owned and Operated by Bill Thornton and his brother Jerry Thornton.
In 1975 the FM Frequency was added and the stations simulcast. The FM has a 24 hours license but just broadcast from 6 am until 10 pm.
