At the current time there have been six (6) confirmed cases of COVID-19 (coronavirus) in Henry County. There are also several confirmed cases in nearby areas. Henry County encourages all residents, regardless of age to practice social distancing to slow the spread of disease. Cases 1, 2, 3, and 4 have completed their quarantine.
Case 5 is a female in their 40’s. She is currently being quarantined in her home and Henry County is preforming an investigation to identify individuals who might have come in contact while still infectious.
Case 6 is an individual from Clinton, they are currently under quarantine and an investigation is in place to contact individuals who they might have been in contact with while still infectious.
The Missouri Department of Health and Senior Services (DHSS) is operating a COVID-19 hotline, 877-435-8411. Citizens can also find current COVID-19 information on the DHSS website. The hotline is operated by medical professionals and is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week and the website is updated regularly.
The Henry County Health Department is closely monitoring updates from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC).
